Cocoa, when consumed in moderation, contains proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, various mineral salts and B vitamins. It also contains serotonin, tyramine, caffeine, theobromine and phenylethylamine. The antioxidants in cocoa help fight free radicals, while theobromine and caffeine help maintain concentration. Serotonin and tyramine are useful against depression and anxiety disorders.
How to prepare: Add 20-25g of cocoa to 140ml of your hot drink. Heat the milk to no more than 80 degrees.
