This fragrant tea from Guangxi province in southern China is a classic specialty. The traditional history of its production, which has undergone almost no changes, is based on small-leaf green tea, which is mixed with an even more moist osmanthus flower. Unlike jasmine tea, it is not sifted to remove the flowers, so the many remaining flowers take on the color of honey during the drying process. The honey yellow cup of tea attracts with a temptingly soft, slightly fruity taste and a spicy note of honey.
