The Tencha of our Ceremonial Matcha comes from the sunniest southern part of Japan – the Kagoshima region. This is the second largest organic tea growing area in Japan after Shizuoka. Due to the climatic conditions here, there is a much greater variety and production of varieties. This Matcha blend is made from different varieties, including Saemidori and Asanoka, which have a unique flavor composition. The rich green tea powder has a high quality and will not only surprise you with noble dark notes, a subtle umami character and a subtle sweetness!
Preparation:
- 1-2 minutes soaking time
- 70° - 80°C water temperature
