Mostly hard and very aromatic pear varieties are used. The fruits are cleaned of stalks and leaves, washed, cleaned of seed nests and cut into halves or slices. Then they are dried until they turn from dark yellow to light brown in color with a sweet or sweet-sour taste depending on the variety. In this process of drying the fruits, only the water is separated and allows the dried fruit to retain all minerals and vitamins for a long period of time without the need for additional processing with preservatives, thus obtaining a completely natural product.
Application:
They are used in a variety of culinary recipes, desserts, compotes and dishes. As packaged snacks and in mixes with various fruits.
